About Us

Valentine Homes provides high standard accommodation in a supportive and safe environment, and support our vulnerable clients, namely, Young People, Adults, Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Asperger’s, and those of the most complex of needs.

With these clienteles, it is important we work with our partnership agencies and focus on findingsolutions for our client’s wellbeing. We will also work with our clients to creatively deliver innovative, flexible and personalised services.

At our homes there will be highly trained staff available 24 hours a day, to meet the needs and requirements of our clients. One to one support will also be provided, as required by the client’s
personalised plan.

Young Person

Our aim is to prevent young people from becoming homeless, socially excluded and be able to maintain a tenancy when they leave care. The staffing team at Valentine Homes will assess the needs of the young person and assist them to build the skills required to live independently ensuring a positive quality of life after care and working in line with the Every Child Matters.

Next Step Programme

A next step programme is where ongoing care support will not be required at the same level for the foreseeable future, but there is an end goal of independence at some level.

Valentine Homes has a property portfolio which allows us to offer our young people next step accommodation.
The second step after they leave fully supported accommodation would be partly supported. The third step independent living and we are still at the other end of the phone for support if needed.

These properties are for young people who have developed their life skills and independent living skills, and we will support them to develop tenancy sustainable skills within our step down properties.

CQC (Care Quality Commission)

We will work closely with CQC, who is the regulators of our services. We will be working with them to review policies and procedures that affect us, and if any services delivery feels they need our support to continue to advocate for our clients within our community. Our clients will be encouraged to live as independently as possible but will receive a high level of care and support from site 24 hours a day.
